Contact Centre Manager

 

Reporting to:      Commercial Director

Location:            Portlaoise (flexible to travel to remote depots as per business needs)

 

Emo Oil Ltd. is part of DCC plc’s Retail & Oil Division. DCC are the leading home heating oil supplier for Ireland and the UK.

Emo Oil, along with our other brands – Great Gas (retail) and CC Lubricants (lubricants) – form DCC Oil Ireland.

 

The primary role of the Contact Centre Manager is to achieve Direct/ Domestic (i.e. home heating oil) and Fuelcard sales and gross margin targets through the development and implementation of a robust sales strategy whilst leading and developing a motivated sales team who operate to the highest professional standards.

 

The role will involve planning, organising, implementation, control, monitoring and measurement of:

  • overall sales strategy and delivery of same for the Direct/ Domestic and Fuelcard departments
  • staff resources, development and operation of best-in-class contact centre environment
  • new business products and services that create meaningful and sustainable market differentiation
  • deployment of key information technology systems and databases for market intelligence, feedback, planning and reporting of sales and marketing activity
  • strong internal relationships with senior management and distribution teams to ensure delivery of overall objectives

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Leaving Certificate essential
  • Third level qualification in Business or a related discipline would be a distinct advantage
  • Additional qualification in Sales/ Customer Service/ Call/ Contact Centre Management would be a distinct advantage
  • Significant experience in a senior sales roles, dealing in the “B to C” market, ideally at Call/ Contact Centre management level
  • Significant people/ team management experience
  • Proven capabilities of implementing best in class call centre processes and procedures
  • Accountable for financial results and the achievement of targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT and systems literacy and proficiency essential
