Emo Oil sponsors Betterlife Cycle charitable initiative

    Supporting local communities

At Emo, we believe it’s our responsibility to support local communities. That’s why we decided to get involved with the Betterlife Cycle charitable initiative aimed at raising money for the St. Joseph’s Foundation in Charleville, Co. Cork. Emo is not only one of the proud sponsors of the event, but members of staff are also among the group of 100 cyclists who are going to cycle from Malin Head in Donegal to Mizen Head in Cork (from the top to the bottom of Ireland!) to raise money for the foundation. They will start on Thursday, May 29th and cycle a distance of 650km in total over four days, to arrive at destination on Sunday, June 1st.

    The St. Joseph’s Foundation

Since it’s inception in 1968, St. Joseph’s Foundation has been providing services for people with disabilities from within a 25 mile radius of Charleville, Co. Cork.  Presently, the foundation cares for more than 550 people.  Because this service is hugely dependant on voluntary fundraising and local support, Emo has decided to join Betterlife Cycle and help the St. Joseph’s Foundation raise the funds they need to keep on providing people with disabilities the opportunity to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential.
